In a large skillet or frying pan, heat the vegetable oil and unsalted butter over medium heat until the butter is melted.
Add the thinly sliced potatoes to the skillet, spreading them out in an even layer. Let them cook without stirring for about 5-6 minutes, or until the bottom turns golden brown and crispy.
Flip the potatoes and continue cooking for an additional 5-6 minutes, or until they are fully cooked and crispy on both sides. Adjust the heat as needed to prevent burning.
Once the potatoes are cooked, remove them from the skillet and set them aside.
In the same skillet, add the thinly sliced onion and sauté it until it becomes translucent and slightly caramelized.
Add the bite-sized pieces of smoked Polish sausage to the skillet with the onions. Cook the sausage until it is heated through and lightly browned.
Sprinkle paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper over the sausage and onions. Mix well to ensure the flavors are evenly distributed.
Add the fried potatoes back to the skillet with the sausage and onions. Toss everything together gently to combine.
Optional: Garnish the dish with fresh parsley for added freshness and color.
Serve the Fried Potatoes Onions and Smoked Polish Sausage immediately, and enjoy the comforting flavors and textures
